Student Services Interventionist
Grant Project position through 12/2026
Individual with a BA/BS degree in Behavioral Health, Mental Health, Psychology, Human Services or other that is in the area of this expertise. Experience working with youth with behavioral or mental health diagnosis and/or implementing Social Emotion programs/Emotion Regulation/Behavioral health programs preferred.
- Assist staff in recognizing the sign and symptoms of trauma and mental health
- Identify and Utilize assessment tool (identify or develop)
- Provide mental health and wellness services that foster pro-social skills and emotion regulation behavior for schools and classrooms.
- Participate in care team meetings meeting with parents, school staff, and others to increase academic and emotional outcomes
- Identify the mental health and behavioral needs of students and work with staff and parents with interventions and appropriate outside agency referrals if necessary
- Observe youth in settings and make recommendations for individualized interventions
- Assist in data in gathering for grant purposes
- Lead peer groups when appropriate
